Distribution Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Distribution Supervisor to join our busy team. You will be responsible for coordinating the warehouse team, ensuring customer orders are picked, checked and loaded accurately and safely, and that deliveries and collections are ready on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and organise the warehouse team, including daily tasks, attendance and timekeeping.
Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for delivery and collection.
Load vehicles, crates and containers safely and securely.
Carry out quality checks and report any damage or missing items.
Ensure paperwork and warehouse locations are kept accurate and up to date.
Assist customers and drivers with collections and loading.
Transport materials between units when required.
Support training and ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed.
Liaise with the office team to resolve any issues.
About You:
Previous warehouse/team leader or supervisory experience.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Good communication skills and a hands-on approach.
Reliable, flexible and able to remain calm under pressure.
Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience with vehicle loading, strapping and warehouse paperwork.
A positive team player who is happy to get stuck in and support others.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being organised, working as part of a team and making sure everything runs smoothly
