Retail & E-Commerce Assistant
My client are looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Retail & E-Commerce Assistant to join their team during an exciting period of growth.
This varied role will support the day-to-day running of our online and pre-loved retail shop, including stock control, purchasing, customer service and volunteer coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day online and onsite retail operations
Maintain accurate stock records and carry out regular stock checks
Process orders, raise purchase orders and assist with purchasing
Deal with customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
Liaise with fulfilment providers and suppliers
Support the development and running of the pre-loved shop
Create attractive displays and maintain high presentation standards
Recruit, train and coordinate volunteers, including creating rotas
Monitor sales and stock levels and identify areas for improvement
About You
Previous experience in retail, e-commerce, stock control or inventory management
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Confident using IT and Microsoft Office
Strong customer service and communication skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Proactive, adaptable and a good problem solver
Experience with Shopify and visual merchandising would be an advantage
Passionate about supporting a charitable organisation
