Field service Technician
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment at client sites. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand tools. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in diverse environments, providing essential technical support that directly impacts customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Installation, set up at customer sites
Perform routine maintenance and preventive inspections to ensure equipment longevity.
Diagnose technical issues through detailed troubleshooting procedures.
Repair or replace faulty components using appropriate hand tools and techniques.
Document Complete service reports, Maintenance logs, and parts requisition forms.
Provide training or guidance to clients on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
2 years experience in field service
Proven experience working with mechanical systems, hand tools, and equipment repair.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Self motivated, orgainised and able to work independently
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in a varity of commercial environments
Benefits
Salary £32,000 - £34,000 - overtime is available but not guaranteed
