Distribution Assistant Supervisor
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Distribution Assistant Supervisor to join our busy team. You will help ensure customer orders are picked, checked, prepared and safely loaded for delivery and collection.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick, pack and prepare customer orders.
Check products for damage, defects and missing items.
Load vehicles, crates and containers safely and securely.
Assist drivers and customers with loading and collections.
Move stock and materials between units as required.
Ensure orders are stored in the correct areas and paperwork is accurate.
Investigate missing items and report any damage or issues.
Support the Supervisor with organising the team and daily workload.
Help maintain Health & Safety standards and correct working procedures.
Communicate with the office team regarding any issues.
About You:
Previous warehouse experience preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Reliable, flexible and able to work well under pressure.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Confident working as part of a team and happy to take a hands-on approach.
Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience with loading/strapping and team supervision would be advantageous.
You will need to be practical, dependable and willing to get stuck in, with a strong focus on accuracy, safety and teamwork.
