Automotive training technician

My client is looking for an enthusiastic Automotive Training Specialist to join a well-established and growing business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong automotive background who enjoys developing people, delivering engaging training, and staying at the forefront of modern vehicle technology.

The Role
As a Automotive Training Specialist, you will play a key role in designing, delivering, and continuously improving technical training programmes. You'll support technicians and customers by providing practical training, ensuring they have the knowledge and confidence to work with the latest vehicle technologies.
No two days are the same. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business, develop engaging training materials, and occasionally travel throughout the UK and Europe to deliver training sessions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver engaging technical training programmes.
Deliver both classroom-based and practical, hands-on training sessions.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers and colleagues.
Create and maintain training manuals, presentations, and learning materials.
Keep training content up to date with the latest vehicle technologies and industry developments.
Assess trainee progress and provide constructive feedback.
Support product launches by developing and delivering relevant technical training.
Plan and organise training schedules to meet business deadlines.
Build strong working relationships with customers and internal teams.
Represent the business professionally during customer visits and training events.
Travel occasionally throughout the UK and Europe to deliver training.
What We're Looking For
Strong knowledge of modern vehicle technology.
Hands-on experience in the repair and maintenance of modern vehicles.
Previous experience designing and delivering technical training is desirable.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Confident explaining technical information to a range of audiences.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach.
A team player with a genuine passion for developing others.
Full UK driving licence.
Valid passport and willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and Europe.
