Skills Assessment / Training
Candidate Assessment - At Downtown Recruitment each candidate is individually interviewed and profiled before being submitted for any
vacancy. Our in depth interview process usually takes 30-45 minutes for each candidate and includes reviewing their work history,
qualifications and any other relevant information. We also establish their search criteria, goals and aspirations.
Testing - Downtown Recruitment can provide testing of candidates’ IT skills which include Word, Excel and typing speed. We make every
effort to ensure that all temporary candidates’ IT skills are tested (Word and Excel) where they are required to carry out computer work.
We can also test candidate’s basic spelling and ability to layout a letter.
IT Training (of existing staff) - Downtown Recruitment can provide training in Word, Excel or Access for your existing staff. Each course
takes approximately 10 hours to complete (9.00-5.30pm, Mon-Fri). These are provided on a self teach basis within our offices with backup
