My Thame based client is seeking a Technical Support Technician to provide telephone support to all areas of the business, pre and post sales and involvement in new product evaluation and testing. You will also provide assistance in the development of the growth of the business and promote customer integration of all their products. Job role: Provide technical support to all relevant stakeholders; Maintain strong product knowledge; Research new products and technologies; Provide assistance with development work with particular emphasis on testing, feasibility and evaluation studies. The ideal candidate: Good all round technical awareness; Preferably degree in ICT or business related or at least A level standard; Good understanding of hardware and software; Preferably working to ISO 9001:2000 standards; At least 3 years customer support experience; Ability to communicate confidently at all levels; Broad knowledge of retail related products; Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workload; Team player. Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. 20 days holiday rising to 25 days. Salary 20k to 23K depending on skills and experience.
