My Thame based client is currently seeking a Technical Sales Engineer. The successful applicant will have equipment sales experience within the Process Industry and a good Engineering qualification or industry equivalent. The position is office based with the purpose of the role to provide technical and sales support on engineered products to internal and external customers. The successful candidate will develop a technical understanding of my client's products allowing them to evaluate and recommend solutions. You will be responsible for the front end of the sales process including handling customer enquiries, selection of equipment and quotation. The role includes regular liaison with colleagues to ensure the customer is fully supported and quotations followed up. Responsible for creating quotations and providing prompt follow up, close collaboration with customers, suppliers and colleagues to secure business opportunities, managing needs and relationships with customers, maintaining accurate logs and records and other administration duties as required. You will be customer focused, have good verbal and written skills, a proven understanding of customer service and a good level of IT literacy. Salary is negotiable.
