My Thame based client is an award winning company with a reputation for providing excellent customer service. They are now seeking an experienced Senior Customer Support Advisor to join their busy team. Primarily you will be taking incoming calls from customers and assisting in an appropriate manner. Your duties will include: Acting as the first point of contact for all enquiries; Checking and responding to emails in a timely and efficient manner; Assisting with administration tasks using the bespoke computer system which will involve some data entry and report preparation at a basic level. You will also support the Manager with ad-hoc tasks and help with managing a small internal team. The successful candidate will ideally have experience within the financial services sector, customer services and be confident with customer queries and complaints. You will have achieved GCSEs in Maths and English with a Grade C or above, and have experience working in a fast paced Customer Service or Call Centre environment. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills with an outstanding telephone manner. This role would suit a self-motivated and disciplined individual who can reliably work unsupervised to deadlines. You should cope well under pressure and be able to maintain attention to detail, with a high level of professionalism and a can do attitude. The salary is competitive range depending on skills and experience. There are also weekend and Bank Holiday shifts available for candidates who want to earn overtime or time off in lieu. The standard day hours are 8.50am to 5.30pm but you will be expected to work one early shift (7.50am to 4.30pm) or one late shift (11.15am to 8pm) each which. These shifts are decided as a team and you wouldnt be expected to work more than four of the early or late shifts per month.
