My Thame based client is seeking an experienced Sales Office Administrator to join their busy and friendly office. The purpose of the role is to contribute to high quality customer service to secure sales; welcoming visitors and providing a point of contact for customers with queries. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Covering reception - greeting visitors, taking calls and accurate messages, providing refreshments, keeping the area tidy; Customer Service - Dealing with customer queries via phone and email; promoting sales, and offering technical support and advice as necessary; Quotations - producing sales quotations and supporting documentation, and completing tender applications; Order processing - including data input; General Sales Administration - to include daily post and couriers, required. The ideal candidate: Will be articulate and polite, with a professional telephone manner and welcoming nature; Will have an excellent eye for detail and accuracy and able to produce clear, factual emails, letters and presentations; The ability to manage several projects at the same time, whilst adhering to strict deadlines and remaining calm under pressure; A dedicated team player who proactively shares information with colleagues; PC literate including Excel and Powerpoint, and CRM systems, preferably ACT; Customer service experience. Working hours: 8.45am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am to 4.45pm Friday. 22 days holiday. Salary range 18K to 22K depending on skills and experience.
