Junior Technical Project Coordinator

Salary: Negotiable, Permanent, Princes Risborough
My client is looking to recruit a Junior Technical Project Coordinator to fulfil an exciting and varied role in a light engineering environment, to manage international Type Approval projects, and provide engineering support as part of their technical team located in Buckinghamshire. This position is ideally suited to someone who is educated to degree level (or equivalent), and has a technical mindset, who wishes to pursue a unique career path with a blend of both project management and technical functions. Your Job: Preparation and submission of Type Approval application files to government regulatory Authorities, Tracking status and driving the Type Approval process to ensure deadlines are met, Assisting with customer enquiries and providing day to day support for customers and our internal account managers on a range of radio type approval and technical matters.Review technical product documents (such as test reports, circuit and PCB layout diagrams) to ensure they are suitable for Type Approval and product certification applications.Prepare and pre-test engineering samples before they are shipped to overseas test laboratories.Verify and supplement the test instructions sent by our customers, so that they are targeted for their intended audience and can easily be understood by non-native English speaking engineers and technicians. Support formal testing at overseas type approval test laboratories, as needed. Manage and support international research projects on new technologies. Industry specific training will be provided. Candidate Requirements :Educated to bachelors degree (or equivalent level) or a minimum 2 of years experience in a similar role.Have excellent command of English languages (both written and spoken), other languages will be a bonus. Be driven, flexible, proactive and enthusiastic, with the ability to prioritise work and work under pressure. Have technical mindset and enjoy solving technical problems. Be practically minded and enjoy hands-on practical work. Have excellent relationship building skills. Be able to work under own initiative and as part of a team. Good knowledge of computers and MS Office Professional suite. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities. Multi-task oriented. Be familiar with, or willing to learn conformance testing for modern radio data-communication technologies (e.g. Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi), Bluetooth, RFID, Zigbee, GSM, UMTS,erest in troubleshooting computers and networking hardware and software is advantageous. Willing to travel internationally, (rarely). In return, you will receive a salary of 20,000 to 26,000 UK pounds per annum depending on experience.
