Customer Support Advisor

Salary: Negotiable, Permanent, Thame
Are you looking for an exciting new career working in a fast paced environment? Do you have excellent customer service skills perhaps gained in retail, and are you looking to take your next step into the commercial world? My Thame based client is seeking a Customer Support Advisor who will take incoming calls from customers and assist them with their queries, both on the phone and by email. This is a great opportunity to join a successful and expanding company, with great opportunities for candidates to progress their careers further. You should have experience in customer services and be confident in handling queries and complaints. Experience in financial services or in a call centre environment would also be an advantage but not essential. You will have Maths and English GCSEs in grade C or above, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have a fantastic telephone manner and be able to work unsupervised to deadlines, while maintaining close attention to detail. The salary is competitive depending on skills and experience, with extra weekend and Bank Holiday shifts available if you would like to earn overtime or take time off in lieu. The standard day hours are 8.50am to 5.30pm but you will usually be expected to work one early shift (7.50am to 4.30pm) or one late shift (11.15am to 8pm) each week which will be decided between the team. Excellent benefits including Pension, 4 x salary death in service insurance, maternity and paternity pay, sick pay. Holiday: 23 days increasing after five years service.
