Vehicle Mechanic

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Mechanic to work alongside the existing team based in Thame in Oxfordshire. The role will involve servicing and repairing vehicles. You will also be required to remove car parts from a wide range of accident damaged vehicles in our busy modern workshop, which will be for re-sale to the trade and general public. A good knowledge of modern vehicles would be a distinct advantage. The essential qualities required for the role include previous motor mechanics/body shop experience. Possession of your own set of tools. Forklift driving experience (desirable but not essential) but you will be a team player. The successful applicant must be reliable, enthusiastic and conscientious and be comfortable working in a very busy, fast-moving environment. The hours of work for this role are Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.00am to 4.45pm (including 2 x 30 minutes breaks). The starting salary is 27K per annum depending on experience and reviewed once the 3-month probationary period has been successfully completed. Plus, upon successful completion eligibility for a discretional monthly bonus and a petrol allowance. Free parking and pension scheme.
