Import Administrator - Haddenham - Salary DOE My Haddenham based client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Import Administrator to join their Logistics department. As the Import Administrator your duties will include: Managing incoming shipments from across the EU and the USA; Ensuring accurate, efficient and speedy shipments into the London warehouse using a variety of specialist shippers - both air freight and sea freight; Consolidating orders prior to shipping; Keeping records of shipment dates and planned arrival dates of all stock; Booking in deliveries and handling stock queries; Communicating with suppliers; Completing shipment paperwork; Providing a seamless and efficient import, export and UK delivery service to customers. The ideal Import Administrator will have: Experience of importing goods from Europe and the USA; An understanding of customs processes and paperwork for UK imports; Organised and thorough with the ability to problem solve and work independently; Capable of working under pressure to tight deadlines; Detail focussed and an excellent communicator. Proficiency in French would be useful but is not essential. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm with 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays. Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
