Forklift Operator- Counterbalance. You will be responsible for the day to day activities within the department. You will be part of a team, supported by the Lead Fork Truck Operator and the Warehouse Manager. Specific Duties: Fork Truck maintenance, liaise with manager to rectify any issues, use schedule to control workflow, wrapping and palletising goods from production, take to goods out area, pick components in line with stock control components, check and replenish minimum stock levels of boxes, pallets and specialist crates, unload vehicles checking stock against delivery note and locate in warehouse, load vehicles checking quantities against delivery note and sign on completion. General Maintenance - Empty skip bins and floor bins including all recycling items, general housekeeping and grounds maintenance. Skills required: Effectively communicate in both oral and written form at all levels within the business, high level of accuracy and attention to detail, a team player and ability to keep calm under pressure. Working alternate shifts each week. Week 1 - Tuesday to Saturday 6am to 2pm. Week 2 - Monday to Thursday 2pm to Midnight. 40 hours over 4 or 5 days. Overtime is available. Salary range 18720 - 19760 depending on previous experience.
