My client, a specialist in providing digital design and data management solutions to the industrial sector is seeking an Internal Account Manager to join their Thame based team. This Internal Account Manager role is office based and will involve working with the external Business Development Manager to build your sales region. Key duties for the Internal Account Manager will include: Creating and following up new business opportunities; Identifying opportunities, preparing calls and calls lists, and targeted outbound calling; Managing new accounts; Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with clients; Communicating product development to prospective clients, and working with customers on sales from quotation, to negotiation and closing the deal. Internal duties will include administering all account activity through the CRM system, providing management with market feedback, and working alongside other departments to ensure the smooth handover of projects to delivery/finance teams. As an Internal Account Manager, you will ideally have proven sales experience in an IT environment, with the ability to network and create and maintain positive working relationships. An IT background or an interest in IT would be extremely beneficial. You should be target driven with excellent organisational skills, and a proactive attitude enabling you to work to tight deadlines and achieve results. The Internal Account Manager role involves a degree of cold calling and you should be outgoing with clear communication skills, confidence in presenting your ideas and persuading others, and a positive manner even in the face of potential rejection. My client is offering a basic salary between 18 - 24K with an excellent commission structure of 9K to 12K OTE. Generous 25 days holiday plus additional 3, plus Bank Holidays, pension and life insurance benefits. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9-5:30pm.
