My client is seeking a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer with a minimum of two years experience in 2nd line support. Your primary responsibilities will be to provide onsite 2nd line support for desktop and laptop (Windows and Mac) users, utilising the external third party IT provider as required. Requirements: Demonstrable 1st and 2nd line Service Desk and Desktop support experience; Experience in a variety of Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office; Active Directory and Exchange - new user creation, account administration and group policies; Setting up new and replacement computers for staff; Resolving issues and correctly recording them; Contributing as a team member in the delivery of projects and IT infrastructure solutions, but also able to work on your own and use your initiative; An enthusiastic and energetic person with first class communication skills. Hours of work: 8.30am to 4.30pm with half an hour for lunch, 23 days holiday. Salary range: 24K to 34K depending on skills and experience, with annual bonus based on company performance.
