31 - Accounts Assistant

Job Description
My Client in Great Haseley specialises in garden equipment such as ride-on-mowers and tractors. They require a Junior Accounts Assistant to support a busy & friendly Finance department. Duties include assisting the Credit Control & Purchase ledger functions by: putting sales invoices & statements in envelopes for posting; providing copy invoices; assisting in various supplier account reconciliations; posting invoices to our Purchase Ledger and filing. You would also be required to carry out other duties as requested by the Accounts Manager and Financial Controller. Experience of working in an accounting & finance related environment, including using accounting software packages, may be an advantage. The main attributes are to be enthusiastic and a team player. The hours are 9-5, Mon-Fri. The salary is negotiable.
