Logistics Coordinator

My well established, successful Thame based client is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The role consists of liaising with hauliers and customers to ensure deliveries are made on time and in full. This involves booking deliveries, checking and communicating estimated arrival times. Checking and managing stock. Negotiating with hauliers. Continuous internal communication with team members to ensure operations run smoothly. To be successful in this Logistics Coordinator role you will have strong communication, negotiation and planning skills. A proactive attitude. Have strong numeracy skills with attention to detail. Remain calm under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines. Experience with transport and logistics desirable, however an eagerness to learn with the above skills is more important. Educated to minimum of A level or a graduate is required. Working hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Salary 25-28K DOE with excellent benefits to include private health care and annual discretionary bonus scheme.
